Temperature Tolerance Test
Photographers often work in extreme environments, such as blazing deserts or sub-zero mountaintops. It is vital that their equipment works well under these harsh conditions. This is why SIRUI torture-test all of their products under extreme conditions (-40–100°C/-104–212°F) far exceeding what most people will ever experience. SIRUI is the first Chinese manufacturer to continuously perform the four hour test on all tripod, monopod, and ball head models.
Forging Provides Greater Strength And Reduced Weight
Rather than using traditional casting techniques, that is typical in tripod manufacturing, SIRUI is utilizing the forging technique to manufacture the full line of its tripods. During the forging process, the deformation and recrystallization of the metal causes its internal structure to weld together and compact, creating a high strength to weight ratio.

Forging seals cracks and voids within the material eliminating stress points. It refines the grain structure of the metallic fibres so that they remain consistent inside and out, providing an excellent finish. Such good integrity assures a longer lifetime and superior performance.
In fact, the forging process creates parts that are stronger than those manufactured by any other metalworking process. This allows SIRUI to build products with exceptional impact resistance, durability, and light weight.
Custom Anodized Surface Treatment
All SIRUI products undergo a special anodized surface treatment that makes all metal surfaces highly resistant to wear and enhance its durability, surface hardness and resistance to corrosion. Anodizing is an environmentally safe electrochemical process to increase the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metal parts.
Certified Longevity Test
In order to ensure the quality and reliability of SIRUI products and our dedication to details, the leg angle lock spring mechanism is subjected to exhaustive longevity tests by the SGS testing tab. The test reports showed that the springs continued to perform perfectly even after 100,000 actuations.
